The size of this bag is just right for me. It’s almost the exact same size as the bag I use most often. It’s about 11 inches tall (not including the straps) and 9 inches wide, with approximately 5 inch sides (it widens out a little at the bottom). The straps are about 14 inches from the top of the purse to the top middle of the strap. When you hold it over your shoulder the middle of the bag falls right beside your hip, with the top at your elbow. It’s very comfortable to carry.
It’s well made with precise stitching, inside and out. The outside is really soft with a textured surface that has a bit of shine, but not too much. The handles go down into the bag about 1 to 1.5 inches, but the corners where they have been sewn together, so they aren’t visible on the inside. It feels secure, and I’m not worried about them coming loose.
The inside of the bag has a thick cloth lining. I got the black one and the lining is a dark brown color. It has two small pockets on one side, side by side. These have a leather border across the top of them. On the other side is one large zippered pocket. It’s also lined with the same dark brown cloth. I pulled the entire inside out of the bag to inspect the lining. It’s well sewn as well, with even edges. It’s not the same shape as the purse, with a flat bottom, but it’s large enough that it flattens out on the bottom inside.
I’m very happy with it. I wish I could have got it in brown or red but those options were not available when I ordered. I still like the black though, it goes with anything. It’s good quality and reasonably priced.
